Voice food logging
Say what you ate while the details are fresh
Voice logging is useful when a natural sentence is faster than searching a database. EatLose turns the transcript into a draft you can check.
Describe the details that matter
You can speak as you normally would: “I had grilled chicken, about one cup of rice, broccoli and a spoon of sauce.” Mentioning approximate amounts, cooking method, oil, sauces and drinks gives the estimate better context. English and Simplified Chinese are supported in the iPhone beta.
Speech is input, not confirmation
A transcript can misunderstand a word, brand or amount. EatLose therefore shows the inferred foods and nutrition as an editable estimate. Listen to what you said, review what the app understood and change any part that does not match your meal.
You can always choose another path
Microphone access is optional and revocable in iPhone Settings. You can type the same description, use a photo or log values manually. Losing network access or declining speech permissions should not remove the manual path.
A quick routine
Speak the meal, check the transcript, review the estimate, then confirm. This keeps logging quick without silently turning an imperfect transcript into a permanent record.
