Account control
Delete your EatLose account
You can permanently delete your account and the app records associated with it from either the iPhone or Android app. This action cannot be undone.
Delete inside EatLose
- Open EatLose and select Profile or My.
- Scroll to the Account section.
- Select Delete account.
- Read the confirmation and confirm permanent deletion.
This is the fastest method because EatLose can verify the signed-in account directly.
If you cannot open the app
Email [email protected] from the address used for your EatLose account and use “Delete my EatLose account” as the subject. We may ask you to verify control of that email address before deletion.
Do not send passwords, medical records, payment-card details or health screenshots.
Delete specific data without deleting your account
You can delete an individual confirmed meal from its meal record inside EatLose. To request deletion of another specific category of EatLose data while keeping your account, email [email protected] from the address used for your account, name the category you want removed and use “Delete specific EatLose data” as the subject. We may ask you to verify control of that email address.
Store transaction records, short-lived security records and original Apple Health or Health Connect records follow the limited exceptions described below; EatLose never asks you to email the underlying health records.
What is deleted
Your sign-in account and server-stored EatLose records are deleted, including profile and goal information, confirmed meals, weight entries, daily summaries, consent choices, usage records and private meal images. Local EatLose data is cleared when deletion succeeds.
Where an active App Store or Google Play subscription exists, EatLose may retain only the minimum store transaction and status record needed for store notifications, fraud prevention and a verified restore. It is not retained as a usable EatLose profile or used for advertising. The ownerless record and any matching Google Play purchase token are deleted 30 days after the subscription period ends, or 30 days after the record’s last update when the store provides no period end.
Pseudonymous Google Play notification metadata expires after 90 days. Limited backups may remain only where necessary for legal obligations or service recovery and expire under the hosting provider’s controlled schedule.
Health records and store subscriptions
Deleting your EatLose account does not delete original records held in Apple Health or Health Connect. You can remove EatLose access separately in your device’s health settings.
Account deletion does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel the subscription in the store account used to purchase it.
